St. Luke’s is looking for an MRI Tech to join us in our strategy to be the community’s trusted partner in providing exceptional, patient- centered care.
The MRI Tech prepares and assists patients during MRI exams and testing. Operates MRI equipment for diagnostic purposes. Prepares and maintains MRI records.
Collect key information from the patient, family, provider, and nurses that are specific to the exam being performed in order to assist the provider in the proper diagnosis.
Educate patient, family or provider as to the extent and detail of each procedure, may include informed consent as well as pre-and post-procedure instructions.
Ensure patient is properly dressed and screened before entering MRI safety zone 3.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification.
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider Certification.
