TITLE: Finance Analyst

LOCATION: Peachtree City, GA

GRADE: 9

POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Position responsible for driving and implementing standard processes globally by collecting, analyzing and presenting/ reporting financial results
Required to obtain / analyze metrics, and trends including financial (P&L and Balance Sheet) and operational data
Prepare, document and review accounting journal vouchers; Prepare account reconciliations as per accounting policies; Identify, analyze and implement a prompt resolution of reconciling items
Complete account reconciliation documents and identify action items to resolve reconciliation variances
Assist multiple contacts / countries with inventory resolution (price variances, freight charges, packing charges, etc.)
Executes internal controls
Provide financial and business expertise and prepare ad hoc management reports as needed
Prepare simpler tax compliance tasks; Review information requests from BU and country contacts
Support internal and external audit reviews and requests
Work closely with financial shared service associates to ensure complete and accurate financial processing is performed
Incumbent must have the ability to understand and analyze NCR financial data and will be required to provide support for various forecasting, analysis, and planning activities
Monitor all inventory transaction movements ensuring system integrity; Reconcile inventory balances with the general ledger and drive issue resolution; Identify and execute action items to resolve reconciliation variances timely

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree, Accounting, Finance, or other related Business discipline
0-3 years of experience in an Accounting role or Finance-related specialties
Industry / Corporate Accounting experience
Ability to identify potential accounting issues, recommend and implement resolution plans
Must be able to adjust and work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment
Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of management
Strong personal computer skills including Excel, Word and Power Point
Ability to maintain confidential data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong financial and analytical skills gained through experience or through a formal Accountancy qualification
Experience with HFM, ERP and Business Objects
