Full Job Description
Summary: This position reports to the Director of Cloud Professional Services and is primarily responsible for developing go-to-market products, advising customers on best practices, and acting as the escalation point for customer delivery issues in the application modernization and migration space in order to generate revenue for the business.
The successful candidate will be customer service-focused and have experience with product development, building product management strategies, and growing sales by creating and enhancing standards and processes that streamline product delivery.
The candidate should have experience supporting the following cloud domains:
Application Portfolio Assessment
Application & Workload Migrations
CICD Pipeline Automation
Cloud Application Refactoring
Cloud-Native Application Development
This position will work with senior management, other practice leads, Delivery Professions Managers, and Sales to develop best practices for products and delivery.
Scope/Level of Decision Making: This is an exempt position operating under limited supervision with latitude to make decisions regarding products, customer engagements, and line of business transactions. This position performs a variety of assigned activities, referring more complex issues to management.
Document product features and capabilities based on market research and sales and industry trends
Build the product development process for incorporating new ideas, features, and capabilities into new and existing products; analyze ROI for new products/enhancements
Obtain business buy-in and ratification for new products and product enhancements
Meet with customers in 1:1 and group settings and advise on strategies and cloud best practices to solve their business and technology problems
Train solution architects, sales, and delivery teams on products and product updates
Develop sales and pitch decks for new business opportunities in the early phases of product launch
Approve product and project pricing based on demand and opportunities in the pipeline
Create and manage product-related processes and workflows that improve delivery and operational efficiency between teams and with customers
Matrix manage teams to achieve customer, internal team, and financial goals
Manage P&L statement for the practice
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience selling and delivering cloud technologies in a customer-facing role
Market and product research experience
Product owner and/or product manager experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
AWS and/or GCP cloud certifications (practitioner required; associate-level preferred)
Experience with both AWS and GCP Compute, Storage, Networking, Migration & Transfer, Management & Governance, and Security, Identity, and Compliance services
20+ years of IT experience preferred
Team player with a can-do, upbeat attitude, who goes the extra mile
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred but not required.
Travel Expectation: 30-40% Domestic
