MBA is seeking a HealthCare consultant with three tofive years of practice experience and/or two to three years of medical consultingexperience to join our team. This personwill need to be well versed in all aspects of medical practice management withexcellent analytical and interpersonal skills.


· High level experience in all areas of medical practicemanagement from the front desk to the back office to the front desk includingmedical billing, collections, coding, training, financial review and analysis,analyzing and making recommendations and standardizing PM reports and A/RAging, and insurance contract review and negotiation. Also, OTC collections, front desk schedulingand workflow improvement, internal controls and assessing staffing forparticular positions.

  • Performs medical record chart audits including sampleselection, summarizing results and presentation/training to physicians andother providers. Also payer audits –commercial, federal and state.
  • Experience with start-up medical practices
  • Interim Management of Medical practices for short termperiods
  • Experience in strategic planning, business developmentand leadership skills
  • Analyzes and makes decisions on specific tasksrequirements; Assists in monitoring and tracking specific project deliverablesand milestones. Performs ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Preform varied and difficult tasks under minimum supervision,conferring with supervisor on unusual matters. Assignments may be routine ormay be broad in nature requiring originality and ingenuity; Provides technicalknowledge and analysis of specific functional areas of expertise.

Required Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and three to five years ofexperience. Specialized training in medicalpractice management and medical billing subject matter. Mustpossess sharp analytical skills, strong communication skills including theability to effectively present information and respond to client’s needs.Ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professionaljournals, technical procedures and government regulations. Must have the ability to communicate bothverbally and written, be technically competent, self-motivated and reliable toanticipate needs of clients, etc.
