The Accounting Manager is responsible and provides support in all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will assist in developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities.The Corporate Staff Accountant is responsible for performing all full cycle accounting functions related to corporate financials. To assist in consolidated or single entity reporting monthly or on an as-needed basis.

Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

Assist in month end, quarter end, and year end close procedures and monthly financial package reporting

Manage and assist with daily operations including: Check Runs, Cash Receipts, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Activity, and Debt Activity

Prepare reconciliation of reimbursables, credit cards, and bank statements

Detailed review and account analysis of monthly general ledger for assigned entities

Prepare and process manual deposits for multiple entities

Review/verify needed approvals and documentation of check requests prior to signing

Assist in other A/P responsibilities, as needed

Prepare audit schedules and work with external auditors as necessary

Post recurring and non-recurring journal entries

Maintain a global view of company as a whole from an accounting and reporting perspective

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing all other projects and other duties as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
