Denver Human Services provides assistance benefits and protection and prevention services to one in three Denver residents. Assistance programs include food, cash and medical benefits, child care, child support, employment first, veterans' services and general assistance for eligible Denver residents. Protection & Prevention services are provided via child, youth and adult protection, along with community-focused programming, including in-home services, designed to strengthen families and prevent future occurrences of abuse or neglect.
The Family and Adult Assistance Division of Denver Human Services is currently seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and data driven employee to serve as an Operations Assistant for the Colorado Works/TANF areas.
The candidate we select will have the following duties:
Reports and data management
Providing support on various reports (Pending, Caseload, WPR) to manage changes to caseloads, and support the program in ensuring all work is completed timely.
Conduct a monthly compilation of vendor reports for review.
Support a tasking system to manage incoming work and cases.
Outreach to participants with reminders for upcoming appointments.
Scheduling appointments for certain cases
Support a new intake model for onboarding participants to the program
Other general tasks:
CBMS case assignment for certain cases
Inbox management to manage general inquiries
Calendar management support for the case managers
While the full pay range of this Job Classification is $19.25 - $28.11, our target hiring salary for this position is between $19.25 - $23.68 depending on education, experience and qualifications.
O ur ideal candidate will have:
Experience with the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS)
Experience with the Colorado Works/TANF program
Experience with program data management including: Data compilation, Data informed recommendations and Program outcome tracking

Education Requirement Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
Experience Requirement Three (3) years of clerical experience at the type and level of an Administrative Support Assistant IV.
Education & Experience Equivalency Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements
