Ensures compliance with delivery schedule and quality of product delivered. Fulfils customer orders, production orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and /or shipped.
Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, according to predetermined sequence such as size, type or style.
All finished goods are palletized, recorded in SAP and shrink wrapped to specifications.
All Finished goods are moved to the proper freezer location in a timely manner.
All materials used in production are transferred to correct locations in SAP properly and accurately, before and after using materials.
All documentation is completed accurately – Pallet count sheets, Pallet tags and lot number accuracy.
Maintain raw material, packaging, warehouse and freezer in accordance with GMP.
Ensure warehouse is accessible, clean organized and safe for all thru traffic.
Always operates the forklift in a safe manner.
Serve as back-up for other department activities.
Relieve warehouse personnel for breaks and meals.
Completes duties in accordance with quality assurance, GMPs, safety and other company programs and procedures, and in accordance with government codes and regulations.
Maintains clean, organized and safe work area, including wiping and washing equipment and tools; sweeping and mopping floors; and trash removal.
Works to maintain and improve on the quality, legality and safety of each product and the processes used in their manufacture. Responsible for keeping assigned work area clean and tidy at all times and reporting any potential contamination and suspicious activity to a Supervisor immediately.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Overtime hours may be required based on work demands. Employee must be flexible with these hours.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma / GED desired or equivalent years of experience in a bakery environment.
Specialized knowledge of all area and/or departmental processes and relevant equipment will be given consideration.
Ability to comprehend basic verbal and written instructions. Must have good command of The English language. Ability to distinguish and identify different products by reading labels.
Basic math skills. Ability to do simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to write numbers legibly.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
