Ziff Davis is looking for a dynamic Reporting Coordinator to work out of our Austin office, reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence & Research. You’ll be working at the cutting edge of digital media for a company with international reach - you’ll have opportunities to interact with brilliant colleagues in NY, Austin, LA, SF, London, and Sydney.
The Reporting Coordinator is responsible to streamline KPI and Dashboard reporting for business units across the organization. In this function, you’ll work with Commerce, Editorial, Email, Merchandising, Video and Display advertising stakeholders to provide and share insights that drive optimizations for growth. The ideal candidate can demonstrate an ability to cleanse, aggregate and produce dashboards from disparate data sources that will enable the analysts to make informed data driven decisions to drive the quality of content production, display advertising, merchandising and site UX/UI improvements.
Develop, streamline and gather requirements for Business Unit level reporting and dashboards
Analyze internal and external data from multiple sources to identify gaps in analytical processes and reporting.
Build and run standard reporting and analysis templates within Tableau (Desktop & Server) to serve various stakeholders of the organization.
Ensure best data hygiene practices throughout all aspects including collection, aggregation and visualization.
Maintain integrity of our multiple data sources (SalesForce/SugarCRM, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Affiliate Portals & Third Party tools) to streamline and improve data collection
Utilize core commerce platforms, database querying, data manipulation and statistical analysis to provide business support to all property owners to ultimately grow
Solve key business questions by identifying trends, designing tests and developing visualizations to show both top-line summaries and in-depth review of relevant metrics
Support the evaluation of ongoing analytics and insights needs from stakeholders through automated and ad-hoc solutions
Proficiency and demonstrated experience creating automated Tableau dashboards
Experience in data modeling, data analysis, Data Cleansing & Transformation as well as Data Export using ETL tools.
Experienced level skill in Excel, relational databases and writing advanced SQL queries(Postgresql, Redshift) to import data from warehouses.
Ability to identify areas of opportunity for existing data collection practices/processes and execute appropriate improvements
Experience maintaining Tableau Server data refreshes and user provisioning
Knowledgeable of data visualization best practices.
Expert user of digital analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Suite
Nice To Have:
Understanding of Affiliate Marketing landscape
Basic understanding of SEO,SEM and paid arbitrage tactics
Knowledge of user and traffic acquisition, user pathing and behavior
Any development experience in scripting languages to deliver complex BI reporting solutions (Python / R preferable)
A/B Testing and framework experience (Optimizely)
