Integrated Defense Systems' Operations Talent Development Program (OTDP) is a full-time two year rotational program within Integrated Defense Systems. During the program, participants rotate through three diverse assignments, each lasting eight months, spanning the disciplines within IDS Operations including but not limited to: Manufacturing, Engineering, Global Supply Chain Management, Finance, and Program Management. Program participants explore a variety of operations functions while gaining exposure to cutting-edge technology, world-class products, and advanced manufacturing capabilities. Throughout the program, members of the OTDP are also engaged in a wide range of learning experiences including mentoring, live and self-paced learning, skills assessments, career planning, networking, and exposure to IDS-wide facilities and practices. Members of the OTDP also work with executive leadership within the Company to develop the skills and qualities necessary to grow the Company’s future.
The Operations Talent Development Program is designed to attract, develop and retain high potential, early career talent for impactful individual contributor roles and leadership positions with Integrated Defense Systems.
– U.S. Citizenship status is required as well as the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
Recent college graduate witha Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical discipline.
–U.S. Citizenship is required.
GPA of 3.2 and above strongly desired
Multiple project, co-op, or internship work experiences
Global studies and/or international experience
Strong leadership and team building skills
Experience in a leadership role in a professional setting or as a part of a team or organization
Ability to demonstrate project management skills
Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills
Must have strong communication and presentation skills: both written and oral
Experience with MS office applications and other common digital tools/databases, like SAP, LabVIEW, etc.
Self-starter with the ability to complete tasks with minimal follow-up/supervision
Proactive and results-driven approach
Ability to thrive in fast paced and dynamic environments
Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
