Our client, a top 25 AM LAW FIRM with offices in NYC seek a temporary conflicts/risk attorney with 3-5 plus years of experience to join their team for a 6 months plus assignment. Must have conflict specific experience in a law firm setting or an in-house environment (this would be ideal).
50% of each day dedicated to work relating to the firm’s business acceptance function and approximately 50% of each day dedicated to work relating to the firm’s commercial function.
Experience with analyzing and advising on U.S. conflicts rules is required.
Requires a comprehensive knowledge of U.S. conflicts rules, preferably the New York Rules of Professional Conduct, and related guidance. Must be able to work efficiently, give clear and commercial advice and understand the significance of matters in the wider context of the firm’s business. Experience with Intapp Open, a plus.
Requires a solid understanding of contract review, drafting and negotiating. Prior experience working on outside counsel guidelines or engagement terms and materials, a plus.
