Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As the Product Marketing Manager for strategy and operations, you will be responsible for leading YouTube Ads Brand and Marketing strategy and planning, as well as measuring the performance of all of our B2B marketing activities with brand advertisers and agencies. You will deploy strategic frameworks and tools to frame our strategic thinking, to assess the role of different marketing activities, the strength of our B2B brand and will be constantly assessing our marketing plan’s performance for learnings and improvements. You will work and communicate with a broad team of marketing managers, sales and product stakeholders, Ads marketing and sales leadership to help build and assess YouTube Ads marketing plan.

Responsibilities
Assess and improve the value of YouTube Ads as a trusted and valuable B2B brand by deploying strategic framework and analysis.
Manage and report performance of YouTube Ads Marketing team’s activities, periodically drawing learnings from our Brand Health Tracker as well as program and campaign metrics that are reported by each member of our team and communicating findings to YouTube Ads Marketing leadership.
Lead the global marketing planning (quarterly and annually), budgeting and marketing spend allocation process as well as executive communications of our marketing strategy for the YouTube Ads Marketing team.
Lead ad hoc brand and marketing strategy projects for important strategic topics.
Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of relevant work experience.
Marketing consulting experience, either within a corporate strategy department at a brand marketer or within a strategy function at an agency.
Experience with brand and marketing strategy frameworks, approaches and analysis.

Preferred qualifications:
MBA degree.
Knowledge of digital and traditional media.
Passion for the web video/YouTube ecosystem and digital culture.
Execution and problem solving skills, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.
Strong leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills working across complex cross-functional environments.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in a fast-paced environment with multiple senior stakeholders.
