The primary objective is to assist Sales Associates. Sales Managers maintain a budget, hire, train and set sales goals for their employees to meet.
Sales Managers work with potential customers on finding the best vehicle to fit their wants and needs, whether it is new or pre-owned. They also help set prices on vehicles, as well as help arrange financing, warranties and calculate rebates. Our Sales Managers are a member of an intensely competitive team that is always looking for ways to gain an edge on the competition. Sales Managers work with each other, Finance Managers and the General Manager to promote the dealerships.
A Sales Manager must be professional, courteous, organized and an expert in customer service. He/She should possess strong communication skills as well as knowledge of basic math and computer skills.
This job may require some travel for meetings or training seminars.
Experience using CDK (a dealership management software) is a plus.
