The Finance and Operations Controller will have broad financial, legal and operations responsibilities and will report to the COO. The individual will work closely with all teams and employees, customers, vendors, outside counsel, auditors, and company investors. The Finance and Operations Controller will provide strategic financial input and leadership, prepare financial plans and analysis, implement and manage internal controls, and oversee the accounting and IT functions. The individual will lead contract negotiations and transaction and diligence endeavors. As a secondary responsibility, the individual will provide support/backup to hedge fund reconciliation and compliance activities.

  • 7+years of finance/accounting experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and prioritize, demonstrated progression in responsibility
  • Experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment (tech/software preferred)
  • Experience with business projects and contract negotiations
  • Experience with investment, acquisition, merger and/or similar transactions
  • Knowledge of GAAP, ability to grasp various regulatory and tax guidelines
  • Flexibility to shift between various responsibilities, curiosity to learn and grow
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Team and detail oriented. Hands-on. Driven. Humble.
  • Excited to make significant contributions on an ambitious team
  • BS/BA in relevant field. Experience in a leading accounting or law firm preferred.
