Materials Coordinator - PART TIME OPPORTUNITY!

Summary: Arranges and accelerates flow of equipment, materials, parts, assemblies, and other materials according to schedules or priorities, and compiles and keeps manual or computerized records. Checks schedules and related information and confers with others to determine requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.

1. Review and approve rejected freight bills processed by third party.
2. Code weekly freight report supplied by third party vendor for premium, duties & taxes, and freight mode;
3. Compile costs for each mode from report.
4. Manage input, details, and updates of premium freight reporting.
4. Prepare supplier debits.
5. Assist transportation analyst as needed.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

  • High school Diploma
  • 5+ yrs experience a manufacturing or office setting performing clerical duties and data entry
  • Computer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint
  • Recognition and adherence to deadlines (ability to prioritize and multitask)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the customer and supervisors.
  • Knowledge base and skill set to manage daily customer system checks.
  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Technical Certification or Associate Degree in applicable field of study.
