The Health Client Manager Role is the “go to” colleague for our clients on a day to day basis. The Health Client Manager is relentlessly focused on the delivery of high quality administration and will do so by continuing to build on their domain knowledge and operational delivery. The Health Client Manager is comfortable working both independently, as well as with clients, vendors, and Alight internal teams. The Health Client Manager can be considered a ‘jack of all trades’ because of their strong knowledge of how we deliver on all aspects of our client project work. They will help create a culture of focus and understanding that what we do isn’t just a closed workflow or managing a blueprint.

The Health Client Manager is responsible for delivering a broad spectrum of tasks, which may include:
Facilitates client meetings
Leads project debriefs with the client Leads internal meetings
Main point of contact for clients, 3rd parties and vendors
Subject matter expert on administration operations and solutions
Grow in the ‘consulting’ space by building domain knowledge and keeping up with the dynamic changes in health admin
Understands the contractual agreements and performance measures
Manages projects, including change orders as well as complex projects from beginning to end
Understands the project life cycle and deployment governance
Leads the requirements definition process on project work
Implements risk mitigation plans, as needed
Ensures high quality Client Acceptance Testing, both internally and externally
Writes queries and creates reports, as needed
Ensures successful attainment of Service Level Agreements
Creates and modifies Standard Operating Procedures, as needed
Implements continuous improvement projects
Uses metrics and data to understand and manage day to day operational deliverables
Identifies potential E&O and opportunities to mitigate
Ensure timely completion of ongoing work activities including but not limited to maestro tasks, edits, file delivery, system errors and workflows
Initiates discussion and collaborates with Customer Care Teams, Shared Services, Point Solutions and the CDG for integration opportunities
Colleague coaching and team Development
Works globally to ensure the Alight team is delivering exceptional service to clients and their plan participants
Builds domain and operational skills within entry level roles
Coaches and consults team on best practices
Comfortable giving feedback to team members
Champion of the Alight Operating System
Participates in ad hoc activities to support Alight business needs
Engages in ongoing courses to support continued personal development
Working with the client to determine what is required for a project/develop requirements/project plan/etc.
Mobilizing the team internally to move projects forward (i.e. - lead status meetings and check-ins)
Being able to address timing and have knowledge about technical capabilities for project work
Partnering with your technical counterparts to ensure everyone has what is needed to implement a project
Completing transition to ongoing documentation and burn-in from the implementation phase
Writing and delivering a client ready defect summary to a client contact
Monitor tableau and client dashboards and follow up with the team on metrics at risk
Lead huddle meetings to discuss upcoming ongoing deliverables, priorities and potential risks

The Health Client Manager will have experience in:

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience is required for this role.
