Primary responsibilities will consist of the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of a Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2016, Exchange online and Skype for Business 2015 in an enterprise environment. Responsible for identifying where process, solutions and implemented technologies can be leveraged to improve customer experiences. Resolve escalated service or problem issues with other teams and operational users.
Provide technical expertise to support, install and maintain both hardware and software solutions to accurately meet the needs of our customers on a timely basis.
Perform tasks associated with upgrades, testing, design, evaluation, installation, configuration, documentation, disaster recovery and operating technologies.
Provide exceptional Level 3 support for Exchange, Skype for Business and for email security tools such as ProofPoint, Zix, Cisco Ironport.
Assist in the delivery of technical solutions for projects and ensures they meet expectations regarding cost, schedule and scope.
Proactively share knowledge and collaborate with IT teams to ensure quick and effective responses to customer needs. Work with Lead engineer to evaluate and prioritize work efforts.
Test, document and apply best practices and industry standard processes.
Document issues and resolutions in defined repository and per standards.
Provide system training and documentation to other IT teams technical staff. (Service Desk and Tier 2 support teams)
Serves on a team on-call rotation schedule to address emergency production issues.
Minimum Qualifications to Fulfill Job Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in technology field or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years technology experience
2+ years of experience Microsoft Exchange 2010 and newer administration and troubleshooting in a large-scale, enterprise, multi-site environment.
1+ years working experience supporting, maintain and administering core Microsoft technologies including Windows Server 2008/2012.
Bachelor's degree in IT field
Strong organizational skills with proven ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously with great attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with proven ability to collect and present meaningful system statistics and other metrics.
Experience within the Healthcare Industry
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Windows Server (MCSA)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Messaging (MCSE)
