The Registered Nurse position in Adult Telecom is fully remote. The RN will be responsible for answering telephone calls that can range from routine to emergent. The Registered Nurse has access to comprehensive patient information via our fully-integrated EMR system, Epic. This is per diem position. The hours needed are evenings and weekends.
Graduate of a State-approved school of nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Possesses a current license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Skills and Experience
This role is not an entry level position; it requires experienced clinicians who can provide advice and reassurance for concerned parents calling during off shift hours. Minimum of 2 years direct Adult experience required and ambulatory experience is preferred. Strong triaging skills required. Excellent clear verbal communication skills and proficient writing skills required. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and EPIC. Strong computer skills required.
