Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical terminology and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. The successful applicant will provide administrative support and assist with clinical tasks, ensuring a seamless and efficient patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient examinations and medical procedures
- Take vital signs and maintain accurate patient records
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology
- Administer basic life support as needed
- Utilize physiology knowledge to provide compassionate and informed patient education
- Deliver outstanding patient service, ensuring each individual feels valued and respected
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Develop strong relationships with patients and healthcare professionals
- Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures and technologies
- Assist with diagnostic tests as required
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols
- Support the healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care and services
Skills:
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Proficiency in vital signs and patient assessment
- Knowledge of Hormone Therapy care and Patient Education
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)
- Experience with medical administrative support and patient service
- Basic life support certification
- Familiarity with weight-loss and hormone care
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
