GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE
The Business Intelligence Analyst I will be responsible for supporting daily reporting processes that meet the analytical objectives of the Merchandise Operations team’s supported business functions.
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and maintain documentation of all reporting processes and data sources.
Maintain daily automated reporting schedules, ensuring that reports have been sent to users, and rescheduling jobs in case of any errors.
Maintain centralized reporting mailbox by answering business partner questions, satisfying ad-hoc requests, and sending any necessary communications to supported business functions.
Compile manual reporting using various tools (Excel, MS Access, Tableau, Web Intelligence) and send completed report to business partners.
Maintain distribution lists for emailed reporting and user licenses for the Enterprise Tableau Server.
Assist the Merchandise Operations BI team’s BI Analyst II and Senior BI Analyst in development when applicable.
Develop and implement minor bug fixes and enhancements to existing solutions.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in related discipline.
1 year of experience reporting solutions in Excel or a comparable tool
1 year of experience in a support or customer-focused role
Strong communication skills, both in-person and written
Self-motivated to learn and produce solutions independently when necessary
Ability to conform to shifting priorities and timelines under a high-pressure environment
PREFERRED OR SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience with SQL and database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, or GCP)
Experience with Tableau Desktop, Server, and Prep
Experience with SAP HANA Studio and SAP Business Objects tools (Analysis for Office/Web Intelligence)
Knowledge of Merchandising, Planning, Inventory, and Supply Chain operations
Travel – Minimal ~ 10%
Ability to flex work hours outside normal means to meet critical business needs
