Job Summary:
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physician Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking a dedicated professional with expertise in various medical procedures and patient management to support our clinic's operations effectively. You will be working closely with another Physician's Assistant in our Klamath Falls office, working closely with our physicians in Bend, Oregon.
Responsibilities:
- Perform catheterizations, urgent care interventions, acute pain management, and outpatient treatments.
- Provide specialized care in infectious diseases, gastric lavage, dermal filler injections, diagnostic evaluations, spinal taps, and physical examinations.
- Assist in preparing patients for medical procedures and examinations.
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
- Support healthcare providers during examinations and treatments.
- Administer medications, conduct basic laboratory tests, and handle laboratory specimens.
- Maintain accurate patient records and billing information.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Experience:
- Otolaryngology experience necessary.
- Proficiency in multitasking with strong time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and insurance providers.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone manner.
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
