As Technical Project Coordinator you will plan, execute and evaluate project activities. You will assist our teams with administrative tasks and support leadership, customers and business partners to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on time and on budget.

The ideal candidate will be an individual with prior project management experience within the Telecommunication industry and has worked extensively within the product life-cycle process. They will be self-driven with excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills. We need a fast learner that can apply that knowledge.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Develops project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Coordinates with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
Coordinates meetings with internal and external project team members to identify and resolve issues
Submits project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards
Establishes effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution
Generates reports to track the progress of projects and deliverables and measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Accomplishes results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects
Recommends technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing project budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards

Requirements

Strong experience using Microsoft Office and experience with project management tools/systems
Clear understanding of the software development process and lifecycle
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization. Strong communication, relationship building, and organization skills
Thrives in collaborative environment
Business & IT strategy experience
Experience with Ekahau, Meraki, and/or Airmagnet tools
Knowledge of cloud computing, virtual machines, and IoT
PMP certification is a plus
Qualifications

3+ years experience in the Telecommunication Industry
Experience managing multiple projects
Experience troubleshooting network equipment
Experience with Excel and Microsoft Suites
Familiar with LAN/WAN, routers, switches, gateways, circuits, cable extensions
Experience using a variety of test equipment to isolate, identify, and analyze equipment; troubleshoot issues
Knowledge of routing, CAT5 or CAT6 cable. Install various support structures, including cable racks, j-hooks, innerduct, and other related structures
