Full Job Description
Plum is seeking an experienced CRE mortgage broker or lender with a track record of developing opportunities and closing commercial real estate loans. Reporting to our National Sales Manager you will leverage our data science, your existing network, and your research to build on your network of commercial real estate owners and their advisors, and initiate discussions with owners when they need financing. You will initially train at our HQ in San Francisco and once in the field, continue to work closely with our San Francisco team to agree on terms with the owner, and convert interest into loan applications.
Use your national and regional book of business to originate and close loans.
Build a network of CRE owners and their advisors in your region.
Initiate discussions with owners at the time when they need financing; qualify and follow through on opportunities to agree loan terms.
Work with the owner, advisors and the San Francisco based CRE team to move loans through to application stage. Step into the process as needed to maintain engagement and progress with all parties.
Develop strong working relationships that will lead to future business.
Work with the marketing team to develop strategies to support your development of a network of owners and advisors.
5-10 years of CRE origination experience.
Demonstrated history of success as an originator with a brokerage firm.
Your experience must reflect commercial real estate lending experience - please include a deal sheet with your resume.
Good working understanding of credit analysis, underwriting and CRE lending.
A prior track record of success in sourcing and closing $3 - 30 million CRE loans.
An existing network of relationships in your region.
Experience using persuasive, solutions-based selling skills.
Ability to connect quickly with people in an outgoing, friendly and professional manner.
Highly driven, focused and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to work remotely.
Demonstrated entrepreneurial behaviors.
An undergraduate degree.
State real estate license where required.
