Corporate Services (CS) touches the lives of every Intel employee every day. This is a part-time position (15 hours minimum, prefer 20 hours per week) during the academic year and full time for the summer. Position is in Chandler, Arizona with no relocation.
As a member of Corporate Services, the Interior Design Intern will work closely with our Campus Space Planner and others to develop campus and building design recommendations to enhance the overall campus environment and experience. The intern will help develop an overall concept to enhance the campus and establish separate projects or upgrades which respond to the overall concept. The intern will establish design intent for each project, present design ideas to their management and work with the implementation team to develop the schedule and budget of each project and work with construction teams to drive projects to conclusion.
As a Space Planning Intern you will be expected to display a data-driven mindset, computer skills, and technical proficiency skills to the solution of basic space management problems such as workstation assignment, workstation rearrangement, space optimization, inventory management, and event booking space management.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Candidate must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Interior Design, or related field.
The candidate must have a minimum of 6 months of experience with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and other Microsoft applications
Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe, Autodesk, Sketchup.
Experience in database management, data cleaning and preparation, data analysis and exploration, data visualization, dashboards and/or reports creation, and statistical knowledge.
