About the role:
Material Handlers are the background heroes of our operation here at Lexington. The pay starts at $20 and can go up from there depending on your experience. They operate a forklift to move and deliver wood material within and around the warehouse safely and efficiently. That also includes loading and unloading machinery. Daily, they maintain levels of materials required for production and use a computer. This position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor. This is a great role for people who have previous warehouse experience, think they can be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and have great communication skills. If you are reliable and are looking for growth opportunities, this role could be a great fit for you!
Job Requirements:
- Prior forklift/material handling experience is preferred.
- No prior manufacturing experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Problem-solving and communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform tasks and lift moderate weight
