Job Description

Citizant is looking for a Business Analyst to provide support for data management website, management presentations and ad-hoc data analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills in software development and data modeling.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the data management website
Make simple content updates
Test website daily for proper functioning and accurate content
Run monthly reports for website usage
Perform deeper usage analysis as required
Escalate any website related issues to appropriate members within ICE organization
Extract and analyze data from other sources such as Jira
Create management presentations of moderate complexity.
Perform data analysis in Excel as required

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related academic focus area

Required Skills and Relevant Experience:
2+ Years’ experience in developing technical documentation such standard operating procedures, memorandums of understanding, policies, etc.
1+ Years’ experience in at least one of the following, which demonstrate aptitude in the realm of data:
Data management, working in disciplines such as master data management, metadata management, data quality management and data architecture management.
Data modelling, including transactional data stores, and business intelligence data stores, normalization, referential integrity, star schemas, snowflake schemas, etc.
Development using scripting language such as Python, Groovy etc.
2+ years for experience managing simple web content. General understanding of web development life cycle and best practices for web experience.
2+ years of experience in working with Microsoft Office tools to create management presentations and perform data analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail

Desired Skills and Relevant Experience:
Experience with software development lifecycle
Experience in learning, evaluating, and comparing COTS software tools

Other Requirements:
Must be U.S. citizen
Have current public trust clearance or be able to get one
Work from DC office located at 801 I St. NW on Tue, Wed and Thursday between regular office hours. Work from home or Citizant office on Monday and Friday.
