Nebraska Family Dentistry is searching for an energetic Dental Assistant to join our proactive and talented Dental Team. As a Dental Assistant, you are a key contributor to making the dental practice run efficiently by being a team player and working together so our patients have a great experience. As a member of our team, you’ll receive peer mentoring and continuing education, along with a culture that values and recognizes your contribution.

Responsibilities of a Dental Assistant

  • Greet and prepare patients for dental care
  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
  • Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment
  • Capture digital x-rays
  • Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and dental equipment
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
  • Interact with patients to resolve issues with enthusiasm and empathy

Qualifications for a Dental Assistant

  • Certifications in Dental Radiology and Coronal Polishing
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Prior experience in a Dental or Medical office is beneficial
