SUMMARY
Decontaminates equipment, trays, instruments and puts together clean instrumentation and trays for sterilization. Receives contaminated instruments after cases, manually wash and place in washer/disinfector. Assemble instrument tray per count sheet after decontamination process complete. Properly wrap and peel pack instruments and trays for sterilization. Load and run sterilizer for immediate use. Assist in performing chemical, biological monitoring, and properly document all tests.
REQUIREMENTS
- 6 months of experience preferred
- Instrumental Technician Certificate
