The Quantitative Analyst Intern will collaborate to advance a state-of-the-art analytic platform, positioning Cortland for a future state of continuous global growth and market entry, and in which data science and analytics spearhead data-driven strategy across all company verticals and platforms.
Develop, conduct, and coordinate financial models and analysis to facilitate operational decisions, including revenue and expense management
Utilize Python, SQL, and BI tools for process automation and reporting centralization
Synchronize with operations initiatives through weekly departmental progress meetings
Develop methodologies and models to track valuations of revenue streams
Leverage data science and analytics to identify operational opportunities
Pursuing degree in a quantitative or financial discipline
GPA 3.5 or higher
Proficiency in financial modeling, accounting, and statistics
Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
Expertise with Git, SQL, and Python
Knowledge of Tensorflow, xlwings, and the Python scientific stack is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
