Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage vendors in the day to day operations of real estate and facilities in multiple locations.

FACILITY MANAGEMENT
Responsibilities include managing vendors providing on-site services at Corporate. Remotely manage all facilities and Real estate requirements for our site in San Francisco. Extensive interface with admin community to ensure vendors are meeting needs of community. Manage budget for services, ensuring quality and service levels are met; keeping abreast of industry trends, and appropriate measures for vendor success.

Individual may also responsibility for global Sustainability initiatives, including but not limited to LEED initiatives, and regional energy/sustainability measures and reporting.

REAL ESTATE
Oversee lease obligations for assigned sites, including forecasting of space needs, site selection, lease negotiations, and project implementation. Plan facilities’ modifications working toward economy of operation, optimizing use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations. Using knowledge of construction and project management, coordinate with architecture and engineering firms in developing designs, and manage vendors as projects are implemented.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Manage facility projects from inception to completion, leading cross functional project team is essential. Work closely with Site leadership and HR team to assure effective communication of plans, transparency of the project and support from the local management. Strong communication & negotiation skills are essential.

Develop criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes. Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Work closely with local management and support team to plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications. Develop a close working relationship with other Infrastructure teams such as HR, IT, Finance, and Legal to align on Facility related topics. Able to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate leadership and professionalism at all times. Individual needs to be self-motivated, and take initiative to ensure proactive approach to opportunities and challenges.

Requirements:
BS with 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with a high-tech, global firm. Possess exceptional verbal and written skills, strong organization skills and attention to detail. Knowledge and experience on construction and project management critical. Must be able to work with and influence individuals in all levels of the organization. Must be a focused, high energy individual with a team spirit and a vision for excellence. Demonstrated ability to work independently and create and meet schedules.

Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel periodically to support projects and teammates.
