Job Description: Laundry Aide
Department: Housekeeping/Laundry
**SHIFTS Available: split shift - 2 morning shifts and 2 evening shifts per week.
Summary:
Performs tasks to maintain a continuous flow of linen and resident clothing as needed. Maintaining a safe and sanitary working environment according to established policies and procedures.
Administrative:
- Attends meetings and in-services as required.
- Reports problems and needs to the supervisor in a timely manor
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of use and maintenance of laundry equipment.
- Verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, understand and speak English for business necessity.
- Have some concept of cleanliness, order and safety.
- Prior experience in a Long Term preferred.
Consumer Service:
- Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
- Adheres to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
- Ensures that all consumer and resident rights are protected.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.50 per hour
