Vivint SmartHome is looking for a Learning Solutions Advisor to join the Learning Innovations team.

In this position you are responsible for ensuring a positive learner experience as well as support the L&OD team, specifically within Learning Innovations.
As the Learning Solutions Advisor, you will serve as a liaison between learners, Vivint learning (programs and software), the L&OD team, and internal departments.
Some of what the role will entail:
Promote the mission and values of Vivint SmartHome through all internal and external customer interactions
Familiarize yourself with Vivint SmartHome products, processes, functions and business units
Work directly with the Manager, Learning Innovations to ensure data gathered from focus groups, user feedback and other sources feeds directly in to learning and system enhancements
Manage all learning data data, pull reports, assign courses, monitor compliance completion, provide troubleshooting guidance, and develop standard work practices and training for Vivint University and other learning tools
Develop and maintain a learning events calendar for the L&OD team, ensuring that preparation of materials, assessments and general classroom / online logistics are in place
Provide succinct and engaging updates regarding learning system features, benefits, functions and major program releases to a diverse internal audience
Conduct in-person and virtual training for new managers, trainers, super users, power users, etc. of Vivint’s suite of Learning Solutions tools
Support the larger L&OD team with testing content, identifying program enhancements and improving learning and development material (both online and classroom)
What you bring to the role:
1+ years’ advanced study, role-related experience and/or certification(s) in HR, business, communications, education or similar (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Highly proficient in the MS Office Suite
Ability to run small projects, prioritize, manage time well, multitask, and troubleshoot
Ability to analyze data, create reports, and translate findings to recommendations
Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication and service skills
Experience leading in-person focus groups, facilitating meetings, and conducting training
Curiosity, a sense of urgency and a knack for finding solutions to everyday problems
1+ years’ experience working within a learning team as either a trainer, facilitator, coach, administrator or advisor preferred
Familiarity with a Learning Management System (LMS) and SharePoint (document management) preferred
