Fan Fried Rice Bar is a Taiwanese specialty fried rice restaurant delivering both traditional and modern flavors.
We are looking for a cocktail bartender to take and serve orders. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Your responsibilities include ensuring our bar and tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you. **Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, with precision and efficiency
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including the bar counter, equipment, and glassware
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and follow proper cash handling procedures
- Monitor customer intake of alcohol and adhere to legal regulations
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and courteously
**Experience:**
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and knowledge of different types of beverages
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of retail math for inventory management purposes is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service
