FAU Counseling and Psychological Services is seeking Staff Psychologists.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Provide individual, group, couples counseling within a time-sensitive treatment environment.
Rapid assessment, diagnostic interviewing.
Group counseling (interpersonal process, psychoeducational, support group, etc.).
Prepare and present workshops – psychoeducational sessions to increase coping skills and resilience, reduce stress, and gain effective communication skills.
Provide training, outreach and prevention services.
Establish liaison relationships with departments and provide consultation.
Treatment planning and coordination of services.
A doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited college or university, which includes one year of supervised internship experience in professional psychology; completion of a year of supervised experience after completion of doctoral program; and licensure as a psychologist by the State of Florida in accordance with Chapter 490, F.S. or license eligible in the State of Florida as dictated by the Florida Statutes at time of hire. (Required to obtain Florida licensure within 6 months of start date.)
UCC experience in multidisciplinary setting.
Demonstrated awareness and value of culturally responsive mental health practice.
Demonstrated commitment to the highest ethical standards of professional practice.
Strong commitment and experience with diverse individuals and communities including but not limited to: students of color, working-class/working-poor populations, first generation students, LGBTQ+ and gender non-conforming clients, people with disabilities.
Professional development training experiences in areas of culturally responsive counseling, social justice frameworks.
Experience and interest in group therapy.
Experience and interest in provision of community level interventions, outreach, consultation.
Experience with complex crises and/or clinical situations.
Experience and interest for clinical supervision and training of graduate trainees.
Able to provide training in areas of experience and expertise.
Areas of expertise of particular interest to our center include: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Eating Disorders, Alcohol and Drug Abuse, LGBTQ+, Group Services.
Experience working with Titanium.
Bilingual (Spanish, French, Creole, Portuguese).
$78,600 - $89,500 based on experience.

Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (with some evening and weekend hours as needed).
