Outstanding opportunity exists for a professional, creative and seasoned Assistant Chief Engineer to oversee all aspects of engineering, maintenance and grounds. Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, direct and motivate the staff.
Responsibilities include: hiring, training, managing and motivating the Engineering team. This position directs the installation and repair of electrical, mechanical and architectural systems throughout the facility to insure safety and efficiency.
Local candidates preferred.
oversees all aspects of hotel maintenance, including public space, guest rooms, kitchen and outlets, hotel equipment, preventive-maintenance programs, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc. Position is involved in OSHA training and other compliance requirements, as well as life-safety systems and procedures.

This position requires minimum of 2 years experience engineering trade in high-rise and/or hospitality experience. While this position requires a creative, strategic thinker who works with staff members to identify areas that need improvement or enhancement.

Strong technical skills in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, etc. Familiar with chillers, cooling towers, chemical treatments, pneumatics, control systems, water systems, boilers, refrigeration, compressors, etc.
