Sunja’s Oriental Foods, LLC produces natural, fermented products and has been a forerunner in the fermented foods industry since 1994. Our Kimchi is sold throughout the country in terrific retails food chains like Whole Foods, Fresh Market and Mom's Organic Market to name a few. Here in VT you can find us in the produce section at Village Market in Waterbury and the Hunger Mountain Co-op! We have been conveniently located off of I-89 in downtown Waterbury, VT for 30 years!
Our business is growing and we are looking for dedicated and reliable workers to join our team. Packing our delicious Kimchi into glass jars for shipment to our distributors is the job we are hiring for.
Food Packer Duties and Responsibilities
- Fill containers with assigned product
- Package and store finished containers
- Stock station with job materials
- Label containers and boxes for packaging
- Clean and sanitize work station after shift
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation requirements
Food Packer Requirements and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED certificate
- The ability to understand and follow instructions or written procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Food safety / Food service experience a plus
- Ability to work on your feet for entire shift
Shift:
- 8 hour, day shift
- In person in Waterbury, VT
- Monday to Friday
- OT and Weekend Opportunities, as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
