The BCA Engineering Division at Boeing is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical System Design and Analysis Engineer. This position will be based out of the North Charleston, SC location.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design.
Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.
Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals.
Supports system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation.
Trains others.
Works under general direction.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
ABET Accreditation is preferred
The individual should be goal-oriented and have a strong work ethic
Should have the ability to multi-task and work in a multi-company team environment

Should have Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools

Knowledge and experience with mechanical design principles and systems, mechanical components, mechanical analyses, and basic mechanical test equipment and standard equipment are preferred

The ability to develop solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation is necessary

Typical Education / Experience:
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering or related technology or science field. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
