Edelman’s DC office is seeking an Executive Assistant who will take pride in partnering with and supporting our senior leaders.

About you:
You have international awareness and understand the detail needed to plan travel. You’re thoughtful about managing a calendar. You see around corners and anticipate needs such as re-routing travel when a storm is approaching. You’re flexible and like working in a nimble, dynamic environment; changing plans and re-prioritizing does not ruffle your feathers. In fact, you prefer a day that’s akin to juggling – it’s more fun that way!

Maintain calendar for appointments, calls and meetings
Coordinate travel arrangements, travel itinerary and portfolio
Coordinate and oversee document production and minor projects, as requested
Coordinate in-house meetings, including conference room set-up, beverages/food, etc.
Maintain client files, contacts database and record keeping needs of Practice
Research and compile materials needed for important meetings, calls and projects
Conduct basic Internet research as needed
Order supplies and equipment for designated practice
Attend staff meetings, take notes as needed
Maintain grid to track group PTO for HR purposes
Complete special projects as assigned
Compute personal timesheets and expense reports in a timely manner
Process manager’s invoices, timesheets and expense reports in a timely manner
Contribute to performance appraisal process for peers and managers

Basic Qualifications:
The Executive Assistant must possess excellent writing, organization and communication skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The position requires at least six years prior administrative experience.

S/he must have a strong sense of customer service, and be well organized with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. The ability to work efficiently, be solutions-oriented, proactive, and anticipate needs is required to take ownership of work and excel in a team environment. The Executive Assistant must possess strong time management skills, with attention to detail, following through on projects and handling multiple tasks.
