As Operations Program Manager you will be directly working with many functional groups within the company and business units to deliver Enterprise products and offerings to Symantec customers. You must be flexible, responsive and be able to succeed within open collaborative peer environment.

We are currently looking for a high caliber, self-motivated person to take on the position of Operations Program Manager within Manufacturing and Operations team. You will be the strategic point of contact from Operations team to lead New Product launches, sustaining products and projects, and provide ongoing support for End of Life product activities. You will also oversee assigned programs in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Owns complete planning and delivery of one or more complex and high-risk projects during Hardware product life cycle
Acts as primary consultant on crucial projects that impact organization’s long-term goals and objectives
Implement best practices or solutions to optimize operational efficiency including cost savings
Represent Operations at Program Team Meetings
Is expected to be a thought leader and expert practitioner of Program Management
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
Ability to analyze and make critical decisions independently without supervision
Coordinate with cross functional and product teams to bring products on time to market
Interfaces with all levels of Management and Peers to provide and obtain information to build consensus on project direction
Report project milestone status to cross functional teams and Senior Management

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field; MBA a plus
7+ years of experience in managing cross-functional projects, Program Management or Manufacturing
Knowledge of Enterprise Software, Security and/or Networking products are desirable
Proven ability to influence others, facilitate agreements among different stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, building relationships
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Power Point
PMI, or similar certification or experience preferred
Knowledge of Agile or Product Lifecycle Management a plus
