SCAD seeks a full-time professor of business design and entrepreneurship to teach classes in business, management, and leadership for graduate students at the Savannah location and for eLearning students.
As part of the university’s creative business leadership faculty, you will have an opportunity to advance students’ knowledge in strategic thinking, data-driven analysis, complex business concepts, innovative customer value generation, financial planning and management, and design of agile business strategies. Faculty empower the highly motivated and diverse graduate students to become proactive and pragmatic leaders, as well as inspired designers of innovative business models and strategies to revolutionize the creative sector. This is your chance to work with remarkable students in a thriving coastal community, home to Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit organizations, design firms, fine art galleries, and more.
In this position, you will deliver coursework on topics including financial analysis and planning, accounting, management, business strategy, customer value generation, and entrepreneurial finance. The successful candidate is an innovator — a strategic thinker with an agile, inventive mind and significant business experience in media or the arts. The candidate can convey business and management subject matter in a way that is calibrated to creative professionals’ needs and prioritize experiential learning. The candidate also displays the flexibility necessary for cross-disciplinary work and a familiarity with current issues and trends in art and culture.
