Brief Summary of Role

The Senior Consultant Business Analyst (BA) is tasked with leading requirements gathering sessions to gain an understanding of our customer's current state processes and technology in the CRM space, and they support the implementation work that follows. They handle our most complex and challenging projects, from the customers they work with to the technical solution complexity, to uncover current state pain points and work with their delivery team to design a future state solution and transpose into user stories. The BA is responsible for providing guidance and recommendations as well as sharing best practices across business environments and industries.


Build a clear requirements development strategy for each customer engagement
Communicate Salesforce’s capabilities and limitations to customers
Lead discovery workshops; facilitate large audience discussions and present solutions
Identify and inventory customer process pain points and gaps in best practices
Perform rapid analysis and decomposition of complex business information into functional requirements
Organize and drive process reengineering sessions
Perform business process modelling, user experience modeling and basic technical architecture diagramming
Build and demo prototypes in Salesforce
Interpret technical and business strategy roadmaps and apply a detailed technical solution
Synthesize technical and business information and present implementation needs and options confidently
Contribute to the overall success of the Business Analysts through CoE, Discussions, Chatter
Assist in onboarding and mentoring of new hires when needed
Identify opportunities and occasionally assist pre-sales support activities
Education and Required Experience

Bachelor's degree in Technical or Business related area or equivalent combination of similar education and experience
5+ years experience as a Business Analyst or similar discipline for a mid-to-large sized organization, or direct consulting expertise leading transformational CRM projects
3+ years Experience with configuration and/or custom development across the suite of Salesforce products
Experience as Business Analyst on at least 1 $2M+/Global implementation of Sales, Service, Community Clouds, or similar and considered a domain expert in one of the three
Prefer experience in a specific customer vertical (Higher Ed, Financials, Energy, etc.)
Strong ability to understand customer needs and pain points, facilitate deep discussions, and challenge status quo
Expert presentation and communication skills to both create and deliver top-notch presentations and demos to a broad audience including C-Suite to technical teams
Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and succeed in projects that require you to take ownership and drive workstreams
Ability to take on any project at any stage and make it successful
Ability to influence others as a leader in the Business Analyst role
Ability to travel up to 60%
