We are seeking a scientific informatics professional with flexibility and breadth of experience who is interested in working with Jounce's Research organization to address data management challenges, improve scientific data integration, manage software licensing, and progress therapeutic drug development.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the IT and Informatics professionals in a growing immunotherapy company. As a member of the Research Informatics team, the candidate will work under the supervision of the manager of Research Informatics to help drive scientific informatics projects from inception through training and support in order to serve the needs of Research and Development.

Role / Responsibilities
The candidate will work with fellow team members in Informatics, IT, and Lab Operations while interfacing with R&D project teams in an agile fashion to help manage and execute various informatics projects to develop and integrate scientific data management systems such as LIMS, ELN, sample management systems, and bioinformatics pipelines. The candidate will interface with the Discovery, Translational Science, Protein Engineering, and Preclinical Development teams at Jounce to:

Schedule and organize client-facing and internal scrum meetings
Manage new project requests, backlog, and scrum board
Translate business requirements into software specifications
Contribute to design and development of informatics solutions
Manage project requirement and knowledgebase documentation
Organize software testing and help plan releases and upgrades
Maintain system / service contracts and licenses
Evaluate and research new software
Coordinate with vendors and contractors on support and service projects

BS/BA 6+ years of experience in pharma/biotech industry or
MS/MA with 4+ years of experience in pharma/biotech industry
Experience with agile SDLC methods
Proven track record to deliver value on Informatics and IT projects
Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects with a variety of roles
Experience managing vendors and contractors to deliver on projects
Technical skills and experience with scientific applications and systems:
LIMS, ELN, biologics / sample management, data integration tools, assay data analysis tools
Experience working with scientists in any of these domains: antibody engineering, translational science, oncology, pharmacology, and / or immunology

Desired Skills:
Agile project management and business process mapping skills
Familiarity with concepts of service management
Familiarity with concepts of data warehousing, web services, and data integration
Experience with Jira, Trello, or Confluence a plus
Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS) a plus
Familiarity with Core LIMS, Biovia ELN, Spotfire a plus
