Business Architect/Subject Matter Expert

Summary: As a member of the SEWP organization the Business Architect will produce and maintain the necessary business architectures to capture and evolve SEWP business processes and rules to the end result of improving SEWP processes and achieving SEWP goals. This is full-time non-contract position.

Develop/refine the process capture and process improvement methods for NASA SEWP PMO
Define a process improvement work program in support of NASA SEWP PMO objectives, especially to support automation objectives
Support decision makers in making decisions and setting priorities about process improvement projects
Lead the execution of the process improvement work program
Be the subject matter expert, train business process improvement participants and make all material available on NASA SEWP PMO internal website
Assess process maturity to set process improvement standards
Document a NASA SEWP Business Architecture, including business process and information standards to support interoperation
Other duties as assigned

Proficient in process modeling software and process modeling standards
Proficient in standard word processing and spreadsheet software
Proficient in facilitation, listening, and understanding skills
Proficient in analysis techniques
Proficient in value chain and value stream assessment and analysis
Knowledgeable in decision support for process governance
Knowledgeable in architecture techniques
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Proven team player and influencer

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required
5+ years’ experience and success at business process improvement
