The person in this role will serve as the Regional Sales Manager of the Process Air Filtration product categories at Hengst Filtration, responsible for driving profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Drive Sales Growth for Process Air Filtration Products: Lead sales efforts for Hengst’s process air filtration products across North America, focusing on achieving and surpassing sales targets.
· Communicate Product Benefits: Effectively communicate the value propositions, benefits, and technical advantages of Hengst’s process air filtration products to potential and existing customers, ensuring they understand how the products meet their specific needs.
· Act as the Sales Expert: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) during the roll-out of new products, providing necessary support and guidance to both customers and internal teams.
· Ensure Market-Relevant Solutions: Work closely with customers to ensure Hengst’s product offerings meet their needs, delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions that align with customer performance requirements.
· Utilize Technical Product Data: Leverage technical product data, cross-referencing information, and product performance criteria in sales presentations, proposals, and customer discussions to support sales initiatives.
· Collaborate on Customer Solutions: Participate in the development of customized filtration proposals and solutions for key customers, ensuring their specific requirements are met with precision.
· Conduct Competitive Research: Stay informed about competitive products and industry developments to identify strategic actions and growth opportunities. Use this knowledge to inform product management.
Technical Competence & Skills:
· Minimum 5 years of experience in a B2B Sales position – preferably in filtration, dust collection or related field, Manufacturer or Distributor
· Natural/collaborative leadership capability – with the ability to lead in a matrixed organization.
· Strong diplomacy and excellent communication skills with the ability to present and communicate effectively in front customers
· Strong business acumen and the ability to achieve profitable growth using financial tools, forecasts, reports, data, and the Microsoft Office Suite to make decisions.
· Ability to develop business cases and return on investment (ROI) for new products
· Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering products that meet customer and user needs.
· Strong organizational awareness and the ability to influence others.
Education Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Technical or Engineering field.
Other:
· Able to travel regularly – up to 60% travel.
· Business is in Camden/SC. This position is assumed to work in mobile office/home office.
