Full Job Description
Under the direction of the Nutrition Services Manager and Nutrition Services Supervisor, functions of the Nutritional Services Host will focus on customer service in a variety of areas in retail and coffee kiosks. Responsible for excellence in customer service in all aspects of our service areas. Responsibilities will include basic food preparation, Cafeteria and Coffee Kiosks Guests/Staff meal service, cashiering, set up, serving and clean-up of catering functions. Responsibilities also include following all Food Safety regulations and sanitation guidelines. May be required to work at Parkview Regional Medical Center and Parkview Randallia.
High school diploma/GED preferred.
Minimum of 1-year experience in hospitality services, customer services, of general labor preferred. Previous experience in nutritional services in a medical or hospital setting preferred.
Must be 16 years of age. Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Must be able to use departmental equipment, as outlined by the department. Ability to perform the physical demands of frequent standing, walking, stooping and bending.
