Bunny James Boxes specializes in snack gift boxes for all types of food preferences, as well as customized corporate gift boxes and private label gift boxes. We also own Vegan Cuts which is a vegan snack subscription box full of new delicious vegan snack options every month. We are a startup working to grow and improve the quality of our products for our customers. Role Description
This is a full-time procurement manager role completely remote. The procurement manager will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing procurement activities, and overseeing contract management processes. They will work closely with various departments to ensure the company's procurement needs are met. This position will work solely with our retail division.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain company budget on all products and continually work to decrease pricing where appropriate
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
- Manage, review, and negotiate contracts to bring on new brands to fill our subscription box monthly
- Ensure partners continue to meet company needs
- Build out competitive analysis documents to help lead product decisions
- Delegate tasks to the purchasing team

- Improve existing supplier relationships and pricing
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 1-2 years of experience in retail buying
- Ability and experience in sales
- Experience in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and processes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with contract management software or tools is a plus specifically sales force
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Relevant skills for the role may include experience with financial analysis, sourcing strategies and contract administration.
