ECS is seeking a Cloud Cost Manager to work in our Fairfax, VA office.

Generate cost estimates based on requirements provided as part of enclave/cloud requests
Coordinate with Line of Efforts and establish “budgets” and thresholds for cost alarms
Generate/receive regular billing reports for multiple AWS and Azure accounts and review these reports for anomalies and opportunities for cost savings
Generate/receive resource utilization metric reports from multiple AWS and Azure accounts and review for under-utilized resources
Regularly meet with Line of Effort Program Managers/Project Managers to discuss findings from billing and resource utilization reports
Propose changes to vendor cloud environments to manage cost and minimize unused/underused resources
Assist AI Enterprise leadership with preparation of Cloud Cost/Resource management briefs
Assist Cloud team with all aspects of billing
Must be a US Citizen
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Business, Economics, Finance)
5+ years relevant work experience managing a project budgets and/or developing cost models
Experience managing subcontractor bid process
Experience managing staff preferred
Strong knowledge of cost management principles and practices
Ability to develop and manage comprehensive, detailed cost project cost models, including as informed by subcontractor budget and bid inputs
Ability to interface with and communicate cost implications with various project stakeholders, including executive leadership, both internal and external
Strong leadership, communication and relationship-management skills
Ability to participate in pursuit efforts-procurement strategy, proposals, budgets, bids, etc.
Self-motivated, organized team player with ability to manage work priorities in a fast-paced environment
