Well established mechanical contractor seeks experienced scheduler for commercial HVAC & Plumbing work. Interested job applicants must have minimum 10 years’ experience in Project/Construction Management of HVAC/Plumbing Systems, Process Piping and Ductwork Systems. Experience in Commercial, Retail, and Industrial construction is preferred.

Job Description: To create and manage all project schedules electronically using our online software called BidTracer as well as Microsoft Project. Create task specific schedules which will tie back to our master schedule, GC Schedule and our cost estimates for each project. Create a master schedule by division with all current on going project as well as project still under warranty. Communicate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Service Manager and Foreman daily to get a good understanding of site conditions and there idea when it comes to there tasks. Make sure schedules are laid out in the most systematic and efficient way possible. While evaluating each project you will be required to sit weekly operations meeting and update the group on labor needs and where each project is compared to the schedules you have created. Review estimated labor costs, procurement (lead times) of equipment, materials and subcontracts. Forecast field and shop labor taking into account the estimates, lead times and GC schedules. Provide oversight with the project superintendent on the day-to-day activities of assigned projects. Work independently, and with managers, following specific guidelines and policies. Perform ancillary duties as required. Have above average computer skills with the ability to work on most software’s and applications as required. Must understand CAD/BIM and how it works in coordinating trades.
