The Entertainment Operations Manager, under the direction of the Senior Vice President, focuses on the integrity and quality of BESTAgency’s entertainment programs along with supporting the Program Entertainment Managers. This includes maintaining relationships with employees, Program Entertainment Managers, and clients; working closely with clients to facilitate requests and support client’s business needs; working with the SVP and Program Entertainment Managers on maintaining existing as well as formulating new policies and procedures that would streamline entertainment program operations; and working with human resources to handle related concerns including compliance with state and federal laws. The employee’s work setting will be a combination of working in the corporate office and companies satellite offices. It will also include regular visits to various venues related to the company’s entertainment programs.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Personally visits programs to support Program Entertainment Managers and review operational and performance standards
– Forms, maintains and preserves connections/relationships with clients, meets with clients in-person regularly, facilitates client requests, works closely with clients to support their business needs
– Works with the Senior Vice President on creative proposals and budgetary aspects of the programs, potential programs and events; reports program status updates to the Senior Vice President
– Supports Program Entertainment Managers on areas such as training, discipline, recruitment, re-auditions and auditions/hiring of all talent
- Oversees the onboarding and orientation of all talent/employees, conducts exit Interviews with talent/employees as requested
– Addresses complaints from talent/employees beyond the program manager level and investigates workplace situations, working with company HR representative for resolution
– Performs other duties as assigned
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
– Works closely with and under the direction of the Senior Vice President
– Responds to all talent/employee relations and incidents; confers/consults with Human Resources Department and Labor Departments
– Assists and supports all Program Entertainment Management teams and program clients with personnel and program issues
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should possess the following:
– Previous Entertainment Management Experience, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality industry; a minimum of 4 years in managing talent and employees, entertainment operations, talent/employee relations or any combination of experience and training which would provide the level of knowledge, skill, and ability required
– Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation
– Exceptional leadership skills, organization skills, ability to multitask and the ability to work independently and as a part of a team, natural problem-solving ability and conflict resolution skills
– Exceptional ability to communicate both orally and in writing
– Flexible schedule, available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
– Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management, employees, clients, vendors and talent
– Professional attitude and demeanor
– Ability to maintain composure in a sometimes high stressed, fast paced environment.
– Knowledge of computer programs including MS Office, Google Suite, and the Internet
