We are now looking for a GPU Computing System Software Manager NVIDIA is looking for a System Software Development Manager to lead a team of world-class developers based in Santa Clara, CA delivering GPU Computing SW driver and runtime software. You will make sure the team executes to perfection in delivering on customer and internal commitments. You will own planning, scheduling, and managing the execution of all projects and activities of the team by applying your excellent technical, leadership, and management skills. To excel in this role, you have to be highly motivated, work well under pressure, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills and habits.
What you'll be doing: Lead and manage a team of system software engineers to develop and support Compute SW GPGPU products, including CUDA feature development and productization responsibilities Provide scheduling, resource planning, and technical task direction for assigned projects Lead the design and implementation of user-mode drivers and runtime system software across multiple operating systems Use your experience in systems level software, PC architecture, and hardware systems to help develop the next generation of GPU computing solutions Establish relationships and trust through excellent execution, high quality, and exceeding expectations Primary focus will be on supporting the development and productization of CUDA products, but will also be involved with other areas of system software What we need to see: BSEE/CS or equivalent 6+ years of experience in developing complex low-level or embedded projects 3 years experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills Capability to achieve objectives under tight deadlines Detailed knowledge of operating system internals, C/C++ language, PC architecture, experience in memory/resource management Familiarity with development on prototype hardware Able to work closely with hardware designers and software engineers inside and outside the company to design, develop, and debug functional and performance aspects of systems hardware. Experience with complex system debug, Linux/Mac/Windows device drivers, ACPI/power aware design, or hardware level and remote debug a major plus.
