Primary Activities and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all train orders, signals, and railroad rules and regulations for safety, operations, and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)
- Inspect all equipment on cars prior to departures
- Receive and transmit information by radio
- Read and understand bulletins, work orders, and switch lists
- Maintain awareness of surrounding area and suspicious activity to ensure rail safety
- Comprehend color and/or hand signals and systems
Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager

Pay Rate
Entry Rate $21.42/hour Full Rate $25.20/hour
Training
This position has a 45 day probationary period, where you will receive on-the-job training. You must qualify to perform all job activities within this time period.
